Sales Order Manager
An internal web app that put order management and sales analytics on one screen — replacing spreadsheet-based workflows with a custom dashboard built on React, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL.
The problem
Orders and sales were tracked across spreadsheets. That kind of setup works until it doesn't — one wrong cell or a copy-paste slip introduces errors, and there's no live picture of the business at any given moment. To answer a simple question like how sales were trending, someone had to stop and rebuild the numbers by hand.
The approach
I built a custom dashboard to replace the spreadsheets entirely. The interface is a React single-page app; behind it sits a FastAPI backend with a PostgreSQL database, exposed over a clean REST API.
Order intake, order statuses, and sales analytics all live on one screen. Orders come in and move through their statuses in one place, and the analytics update alongside them — so the current state of the business is always in view, no rebuilding required.
The result
Spreadsheets are gone. Orders are captured, tracked, and reported in a single tool, and sales analytics are there to read at a glance instead of being reconstructed after the fact.
