Custom software & automation in Los Angeles
I build internal tools, business automation, scrapers, API integrations, and dashboards for Los Angeles businesses — everything that kills the manual routine. Every hour of manual work costs you twice: once when you do it, and again in the mistakes and delays it causes. If your team is copying data between spreadsheets, re-keying orders, or building the same report by hand every week, I can automate it — and hand you a tool you own outright.
Most small businesses in Glendale, Burbank, and greater LA don't need enterprise software — they need one focused tool that erases a specific bottleneck. Maybe orders come in through three channels and someone re-types them into a spreadsheet. Maybe you close the books by exporting from Square and pasting into QuickBooks. Maybe inventory drifts out of sync because nothing talks to anything else. I've built exactly these tools: a dashboard that replaced a tangle of spreadsheets, scrapers that pull data no one wanted to collect by hand, and integrations that let systems finally share what they know. The goal is always the same — fewer hours spent on work a computer should be doing, and fewer errors along the way.
What's included
- Internal tools & dashboards — one screen that shows what's happening, instead of five spreadsheets
- Workflow automation — repetitive steps done automatically, on schedule or on trigger
- Data scrapers & parsers — pull data from sites, files, and inboxes into structured form
- API integrations — connect payment, CRM, inventory, and shipping systems so they talk to each other
- Reporting — daily, weekly, or on-demand reports generated for you, not by you
- Order & inventory systems — track stock, orders, and fulfillment in one place
- Migrations from spreadsheets — move off fragile, error-prone spreadsheets to a real system
- Documentation & handoff — you get the source code, docs, and a walkthrough — no lock-in
How it works
-
01
Process audit — free
We walk through the routine that's eating your time. I tell you what's worth automating and what isn't, and you get a fixed quote within 24 hours.
-
02
Scope & fixed price
I define exactly what the tool will do and lock in a fixed price. You approve the scope before any code is written — no open-ended hourly bills.
-
03
Build with weekly demos
I build it and show you working progress every week — typically 1–4 weeks depending on scope. You catch anything early instead of at the end.
-
04
Deploy, train, support
I deploy it to your accounts, train your team, and hand off documentation. Optional ongoing support if you want it — but the code is yours either way.
Pricing
Scoped projects get a fixed quote after a free process audit — the number you approve is the number you pay. You own the code, with a documented handoff and no lock-in.
Tech stack
Python and FastAPI for automation, scrapers, and APIs; PostgreSQL for data that has to be reliable; React for tools your team actually uses. Everything runs on cloud hosting you own and can hand to any developer later.

SaaS Bayesian engine · accounts · billingA full SaaS product with a custom Bayesian engine, user accounts, and subscription billing — built and integrated end to end.
Common questions
What kinds of tasks can be automated?
If a person does it the same way every time, it can usually be automated. Common examples: pulling order intake from email or forms into one place, generating daily or weekly reports, syncing inventory across systems, and creating invoices automatically. If you can describe the steps, I can build a tool that runs them without you.
Can you integrate with my existing software?
Yes — if your software has an API or an export, I can connect to it. I've worked with tools like QuickBooks, Square, and Google Sheets, plus most CRMs and payment and inventory systems. When there's no clean API, I can still automate around exports, files, and scraping.
Do you work hourly or fixed-price?
Both. For a scoped project with a clear outcome, I quote a fixed price after a free audit, so you know the number up front. For small ongoing tweaks and one-off tasks, I work hourly at $85–120/hr depending on the work.
Will I own the code?
Yes — full ownership, no lock-in. You get the source code, it runs on your accounts and hosting, and I hand it off with documentation so any developer can pick it up later. You're never stuck depending on me to keep it running.
Can you maintain it after launch?
Yes, if you want it. Maintenance is an optional arrangement — I can monitor the tool, fix issues, and add features as your business changes. It's completely optional: because you own the code, you're free to hand it to anyone else at any time.
